I can't even remember the last time I've not been dealing with some kind of stressful situation, to the point where I can't even laugh about the absurdity of it anymore, and am just filled with anger and confusion. I am lucky to be alive right now, but somehow I feel that I was kept alive only so the bullshit could continue on happening, but the worst thing about all of this is that I am not experiencing this alone. In fact, I got off incredibly lucky compared to many people in my neighborhood. Many families went to sleep the night of the storm believing that it would be like those we've previously experienced.. an assumption that costed a lot of people their lives. I went to bed that night assuming the same thing, but also with the risks in the back of my mind. The water stopped just 5 feet short of taking my life as well. I was trapped inside my house for 2 days before running out of resources and finally getting the courage to travel for help on foot. With each mile, the severity of the storms impact and damage became more and more clear, and so did the realization that I would be walking much farther than planned for help.
As you guys know, our house caught fire in April of last year, and we've been having to live in this leaking and moldy camper, while repairing the house in our free time ever since. Well we finally got the house cleaned up to the point to where we could hire someone to come do an estimate on how much it will cost to rewire. We figured it would be expensive, but not this expensive. My bf is working, but I've not been able to find another job yet. So after thinking on it for a few days Ive decided to just post it anyway, even though I hate feeling like I'm asking for a handout. Im posting this so that anyone who wants to help, and who is well off enough financially to afford to help, has the ability to do so. Any help at all is appreciated more than words can express! And I will continue keeping you updated on the situation until the day we hopefully can move back into our house.
Literally can't take being in this camper anymore bro. It's falling apart more and more everyday. As you can see the roof is leaking that's why there is bulging in that closet In 1st pic, and what is on the ceiling in the 2nd pic, it's also dripping in that pic, and that's water in the kitchen behind the stove running down. We've fixed the roof 3x this year, and water keeps finding a way in. Although the sunroof if you can even call it that, definitely is the main culprit, idk who TF thought that was a good idea, but I blame them for all the water damage this thing now has. Yesterday it almost caught on fire after the breaker failed to trip, why? Bcs apparently you can't have a small LCD tv plugged in, a space heater, AND charge your phone...yeah, my bf went to plug in his phone and the instant he did I heard electricity and saw sparks. Went to flip the breaker bcs I figured it had tripped, but it hadn't fully tripped it, and it had began sparking, and buzzing. It freaked me out, like this thing is a literal Tin Can Death Trap๐ญ
Update on the house, it's slowly coming back together. I know I haven't been posting much, I had been working most days but unfortunately lost my job recently due to layoffs. So I should be back to posting here soon!

More post-fire photos, including my closet which is now full of unwearable clothes, the items that miraculously weren't covered in soot, ended up being covered in various types of mold from getting sprayed by a firehose. This whole situation suuckkks so bad. For now I'm staying in a camper, which is not as fun as one would think as it's nothing like camping, and Im almost too afraid to sleep at night because campers/RV's have such a high fire risk. Which hmmm I wonder why considering the company that made this model thought installing a fridge and stove that run off propane would be a great idea๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
raising money for a place to stay temporary while we try to restore the damage , it's pretty bad, and going to take awhile to fix. The whole house will have to be rewired and bcs it was knob and tube style wiring it's going to cost even more to update and replace. It will also have to be partially rebuilt bcs so much of it was burned, plus the rest is now covered in layers of soot. Yeah, We are lucky to be alive but I don't feel so lucky rn, I'm angry. I was finally starting to be able to support myself and get somewhere and just like that it's all gone
So instead of making you guys wait any longer than I already have ( which I am so sorry for, cause I had promised that the video was gonna be done like last week but it wasn't ๐ฌ๐ซฃ ) I have decided to release sections of the video that I have completed, and am planning on doing future releases the same way, so that you guys don't have to wait so long for new videos anymore!

In case you guys didn't already know I am also really into cooking. My dad who passed away 3 years ago was an amazing cook, and he would always cook for friends and family whenever they were in town. Cooking is an art form and my dad has years of experience and in my opinion he had perfected this art. To this day my dad's recipe for grilled steak is still the best tasting steak that I have ever tried in my life, and many others agree with me... I wish I would have wrote down his recipe ๐ฅ I wish I would have spent more time with him before he died, but he lives on through me, and when I cook I feel like it brings me closer to himโค๏ธ
