Soundwave was the first Transformer to join Megatron in his Tyranny before anyone else did. A Guardian of smaller animal like robots like Ravage, Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw that he nursed back to health and live as Cassettes inside his chest plate.
Before Megatron he worked in the mines of Cybertron under the Cybertronian elite rules where you only matter where your job lies, with the Twins: Frenzy and Rumble which transformed into jack hammers together and think of Soundwave as an elder Brother.

Once a Curious being becoming close friends with a Librarian, Orian Pax whom also seeked knowledge to lead Cybertron into a better future. Appearing before Zeta Prime the last living Prime on Cybertron, Megatron was shunned from the Spotlight as Zeta took a liking to Orian and his thirst for a peaceful future through words instead of violence. Feeling humiliated Megatrons jealousy grew and seeked out...Megatronus. A Corrupt Prime that was imprisoned by his brothers, fair to say.. Megatron found him and became his Prodigy, Soaring in Dark Energon and Hate for many years, being manipulated by the words of Megatronus his mind became foggy and soon to come see his Friend as the Enemy
