It super common to see more congested skin when dealing with the hormones of pregnancy tho so we won’t worry 🤙🏼 Her goal is still to exfoliate every other day and moisturize a couple times a day

I work around them and haven’t ever run into any issues — posting this did just remind me though that I used to wax a client at another salon that had piercings all along her labia majora along with her cliroral hood. I mean, the service took me longer but we got it done 🤣🤷🏻♀️ 2. This client has been seeing me for near a year now and has a mild allergic reaction directly after her wax, no matter which product line I was using at the time. So what’s the deal with scars and waxing? 1. If it’s not 6+ months old, I won’t even consider waxing over it 2. If it dents into the skin enough for soft wax to ‘puddle’ into it, I will not wax over it 3. If it’s tender to the touch, no matter how long the person has had it, I won’t wax over it and can only wax around it if it doesn’t put my client in pain when I hold their skin taut to remove the surrounding wax. This client of mine came in to me about 2.5 months post-op and has had minimal tenderness so I have been able to wax her a couple times by avoiding the scar tissues completely and tweezing a few random hairs that grow a liiil too close. Oof this just reminded me — there was a gnarly ingrown hair in one of them and I didn’t think to grab a pic before i removed it because it was so satisfying 🥴😮💨 so I guess just imagine it sorry

What have I learned, though, since specializing in Brazilian waxing?? Well I’ll tell you: It’s completely normal for the pigmentation/color of your vulva skin, the skin surrounding your anus, labia and/or labia minora. It can happen with hormone changes, trauma to the skin or friction (hi, yeah! intimate contact!! it’s normal for you to start seeing changes in the appearance of -yo girl- as soon as you start masturbating or having sex. Did you know that?! Rhetorical question, you don’t have to answer.😤) I have noticed the most difference pigmentation since having my son — fookin’ hormones. No, guys.
