If it dents into the skin enough for soft wax to ‘puddle’ into it, I will not wax over it 3. If it’s tender to the touch, no matter how long the person has had it, I won’t wax over it and can only wax around it if it doesn’t put my client in pain when I hold their skin taut to remove the surrounding wax. This client of mine came in to me about 2.5 months post-op and has had minimal tenderness so I have been able to wax her a couple times by avoiding the scar tissues completely and tweezing a few random hairs that grow a liiil too close. Oof this just reminded me — there was a gnarly ingrown hair in one of them and I didn’t think to grab a pic before i removed it because it was so satisfying 🥴😮💨 so I guess just imagine it sorry
