Yesterday was a nice day, I worked on a new song in the morning and in the afternoon I watched a movie and then my husband's Twitch live set. A friend came over and we had dinner afterwards. A cool evening. I'll be working on the song again this morning until lunch.
Oh! Before I forget, as I replied to Grizzly in my previous post, I had to take down the new version of the "All Systems Go" book for a moment. It had some printing errors that need to be fixed. It was indeed a night to remember ☺️ My surgery yesterday went well. It was uncomfortable while we were doing it and it hurt for a while, but when I got home it was like it never happened. I took the afternoon off to rest anyway. Better follow the doctor's orders. Now we have to wait for the results, which will be here on Wednesday at the latest. AJRG asked me yesterday if there was a color version of this photo gallery I shared last year (I shared a story here yesterday with the original post), and here they are. I re-edited the images from the original RAW files, keeping the color. An anecdote from this set: our car broke down and we were stranded on a road near Alicante, Spain, so we rented a motel room for the night. Turns out there was a bear bar around the corner. We went there, the place was empty, but we ended up getting pretty wasted with the bartender and two of the guys. After that my ex and I went back to our room and he said: "Why don't we take pictures?" And as you can see, part of me was very awake for that, but another part just wanted to sleep, as you can notice by my sleepy eyes 🤪. Have a great Sunday 😘 ❤️

Good morning guys, Friday finally arrived, want to play Lego? 😜 Updates and news: I managed to do the three tests the doctor asked for in two days, the results will be back before Tuesday, so I hope we'll have an update by next Thursday tops. Chemo or no chemo, that's the question we want to get answered 🧐 I just finished the new hardcover version of the "All Systems Go" book this morning. It's been in the works for a few months. I reworked the book that was on Amazon and rewrote almost everything and added a lot of new content. Now it's called "All Systems Go: A Visual Exploration". If you already have the original book, consider this a director's cut with a lot more nudity 😜 (a lot of pictures I cut for the first edition for fear of Amazon's censorship are now back with all the goodies) and a much cooler presentation. Now I have to decide when to release it (I was thinking of reworking the first one as well and releasing them together, but that would take me another two months, maybe). I'll let you know. Good morning everyone! I found these pictures yesterday and they reflect exactly how I want to be in a few days, in bed and ready to have some well deserved fun 🤩. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and we are now officially in phase three of my recovery (phase one was the major surgery, two was the second one to deal with the infection). Today I'm going to see another doctor to find out how much chemo I need. Hopefully not too much, because according to the tests I'm cancer clean, also because the thing is crazy expensive and I don't have insurance 😱. But we'll deal with that when the doctor says his piece. Until then, I've resumed work on the new and remixed/revised "All Systems Go" book, and I'm also warming up for a return to music. I may be physically weak, but my mind is strong. Happy Wednesday 😘 ❤️

Nothing like starting the morning by stretching the muscles and getting some exercise in, are you with me? ☺️ One thing that surprises me about the recovery process I'm in from the major surgery I had last month is how weak the body is left after all the shenanigans. My doctor warned me about this, he told me it would take time and a lot of willpower to recover, but I'm all in, keeping busy and running as much as I can (turtle mode at the moment though 😅). My recovery is going well, I've been able to move around a bit more and today I was able to use my computer for the first time in a month 🎉 To celebrate this good news, here's a video we made for you the day before my surgery on June 25th. Hi guys, just a quick update, this time from me. I'm feeling much better, the road to recovery seems to be going well and I want to thank you all for waiting for me. I can't wait to come back stronger than ever. This has been a nightmare, but also a lesson that I'm determined to pass along with this advice: PLEASE get a colonoscopy when you turn 50. Don't wait, don't make excuses, a week can make all the difference. I need to find a better way to get this message out. If you have any ideas, they're all welcome. My dear friends, subscribers and inner circle. I didn’t know how to talk about this at first, so I just kept it for myself for a few days to process it. Then things got complicated.
Now, the first day I’ve been able to get my iPad and write something (with the help of my husband), I want to take a moment to apologize for my absence this past month and explain to you what has happened.
First and foremost, I am alright and in the way to recovery. In the beginning of the month I went to a routine medical check-up and to our surprise they found out a tumor in my colon.
It was a very early stage tumor and we moved things fast and luckily we were able to program a surgery where they managed to remove the tumor in it’s entirety. The doctors are happy with the results of the surgery and the general prognosis. Although they managed to take it all I will still need to undergo some kind of treatment to kill any malignant cells that may be in my system.
Now, days after the surgery I started feeling a very sharp pain in my abdomen and long story short turns out that one of the wounds got infected so I have been battling that infection recovering steadily but very slowly.
I’d like to thank you for your support on my subscription channels and on my music projects. I am following all doctors orders so I can make a faster recovery and I can be creating more content to you hopefully very soon.

They fell asleep in each other's arms, the world outside forgotten for a while. But when morning came, the reality of their situation hit hard. Josh told Corey they had to leave, perhaps a little too abruptly, immediately feeling a mixture of guilt and longing. They dressed in silence and left the room.
Hey guys, in the next few days I'm going to share with you a story I've written. My first intention was to write a script for the music video of my song "Don't Say A Word", but then the story took on a life of its own. This is the first of 8 chapters of "Love In Neon City":
Chapter 1: The Get-Together
In the heart of Neo-City, where neon lights danced off polished chrome surfaces and the air buzzed with the hum of hovercars, a lonely man found himself in a quaint cafeteria on a slow Tuesday morning. The aroma of freshly brewed synthetic coffee filled the air, mingling with the sweet smell of pastries.
Josh, a burly fellow with a broad, furry chest and soft, rounded edges, shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He had been there for a while, constantly checking his feed to control his anxiety, secretly afraid that he had picked the wrong day and place to go out. His dark hair, beard and somber expression contrasted with his clear green eyes. The door tingled. He browsed the room, lingering on a man who had just entered. This new arrival had the look of a cute Viking - well-built with a bulging stomach and thick arms and legs, his auburn hair disheveled and his freckled skin glowing under the warm lights of the cafeteria.
Their eyes met, and a shared smile broke the ice. The guy approached, and Josh could tell that his confidence might be masking a flutter of nerves. "Mind if I join you?" he asked, pointing to one of the free barstools, his voice rich and friendly.
"Not at all," Josh replied, his heart rate quickening. "I'm Corey," the redheaded hunk said before ordering a coffee and a muffin, and after another smile they fell into easy conversation, quickly discovering common interests and a mutual appreciation for old TV shows.
As they chatted, the atmosphere between them became charged with unspoken possibilities. Nearly three hours in, Corey began to ask more personal questions, and Josh suggested they use fake names to add an element of mystery to their budding relationship. Corey grinned and agreed, enjoying the playful secrecy. They chose "Brent" and "Trent" as their code names, it sounded fun.
Conversation flowed effortlessly, each laugh and shared story building a bridge between them. As night approached, Josh felt a boldness he hadn't felt before and jumped in. "How about we take this somewhere more private?" he asked, his voice steady despite the butterflies in his stomach.
Corey's eyes twinkled with intrigue. "Lead the way," he replied.
They left the cafeteria together, the cool night air curling around them as they walked side by side. The promise of what was to come hung in the air, electric and undeniable.

The last days have been a rollercoaster, things are looking good now, but for a moment it got a bit... tense. Sometimes the only secret in life is to go with the flow and accept whatever the universe puts in front of you, and just like in a video game, be present and pay attention to every little opportunity that comes your way.
