How have my parents taken this whole project? It's a little complicated but this project has changed the way I communicate with my parents. While they are generally supportive of Genital Electric, my radical way of approaching certain things like nudity and sex has been difficult for them to understand.
How are your parents when it comes to bodies, sexual health, and open conversations? Or if you're on the flip side, how are you as a parent dealing with these topics?
This episode is all about the New Society for Wellness, a sex club in NYC. I'll talk about my experience at one of their events, and how they've inspired me to be more open to exploring myself and my sexuality. There's a lot more that goes into getting ready to go to a sex club, especially with your partner, and I'll cover some of that. So if you've ever been curious about the experience, check this out. Two things I forgot to mention in this video. 1. In addition to the introduction and consent workshop, there was also a kink show that was like nothing I'd ever seen before. 2. How different the conversations were with people at the event before and after the kinky part of the night. There is just such a different level of comfort in talking with people once everyone is naked at the end of the night versus at the beginning of the night. What a curious experience. Have you ever thought about what going to sex club would be like?
I grew up in a family that had a lot of unintentional shame on bodies and sex and I never really felt comfortable having conversations with them about these things. My education on sex and bodies came from religious institutions, public education, hollywood and society, occasional stories from friends, and eventually porn. Even now, there is still constant shame being thrown at us from every angle in media and advertising.
Last episode I answered your anonymous questions, and the stories I told were pretty steamy. So much so that I couldn’t post the whole thing on Youtube, and I got a warning ban from IG and lost access to live chats. While they aren’t coming right out and saying it…all of this adds to more shame about our bodies. Shame on me I guess?
So let’s dig into shame in this episode. What is shame, and why is it such a strong feeling that can own us and everything we do if we’re not aware of it? How do we become aware of our shame and where it comes from? What is the antidote to shame and how can we move through it?
In this episode I mention:
Brené Brown | American professor, lecturer, author, and podcaster. Her books, and TED talks on shame, vulnerability, and empathy have informed my own personal work.
Lorrae Jo | founder of Slutty Girl Problems and podcaster. Her workshop on shame was a very helpful tool in starting to unravel the personal work I had ahead of me.
This week's episode was a little too spicy for Youtube 🥵🥵🥵 I answered a bunch of your dirty questions, and maybe got a little too explicit for youtube's community guidelines. The full uncensored version is available on my profile.
The Naked Series Ep. 9 Answering your anonymous questions.
I'm taking this opportunity to answer some of the juicy questions I've received from you all. You really made me sit and think about some of these things in a different way.
I'm covering everything from kinks and porn to swinging and pegging 😳
This was so much fun and I can't wait to do this again. You can ask questions through my taplink!
Im recording another naked video today, answering your questions from my DMs 😏 you can also ask me questions anonymously through my taplink, and I'll answer them in a future video.
Last night I did my first ever live painting! I'm still buzzing from all the energy of the evening. I was honestly a little nervous before I started because I wasn't sure how the local Mexican audience would receive it. Once I got into it, I was in my own zone and felt totally natural. In the end people loved the work, and seeing me go through the process in public.
I posted some live videos from the event on my instagram page. check it out if you want to see more progress shots!
I've been editing this solo masturbation video this morning, and I keep asking myself, is it better to keep the clips longer or is it better to cut it up?
When you watch porn what do you like?
Do you watch the full clips? Or do you click through the full length videos to the juiciest parts.
Let's have a discussion about this in the comments.
and....DM me if you want to be added to the list that receives this video 🫦
One year ago my partner Forest and I traveled across the United States with my four foot tall neon pussy self portrait. We stopped in 15 cities along the way and held guerrilla style pop up art shows to talk about self love, masturbation, and shame.
It was a crazy experience, and I'm still recovering from it financially. But this project is something I'm so passionate about, and bringing it directly to the people was the only way to battle instagram's censorship.
For my only fans subscribers only. That means you!
Custom vulva and penis portraits are $50 off of their regular price until the end of August. Normally I charge $200 for custom artwork, but this week they're just $150.
If you're interested in having me draw your genitals in neon send me a DM and we'll go from there
It was just one year ago this week that I showed my neon vulva in public for the first time. I was so nervous about how people would react to my project, but as it turned out people were mostly curious, genuinely interested, and super polite. We traveled over 6,000 miles with this neon sign last summer.
In this vlog episode we did our first pop up show at Washington Square Park, in New York City and gave away a vibrator from Babeland Toys to officially kick off our tour.
I had a great time recording this interview for the Bottled Up Bitches podcast. We talked a lot about sex and masturbation, and how I learned to masturbate with my partner. I also talked about my project, Genital Electric, and how I went from being afraid to look at my vulva one year to creating a four foot neon sign of my vulva the next.
Tiktok muted this one...I guess because this pussy is just too powerful.
All the more reason to start growing my audience on more sex positive platforms. (And im not forgetting that this platform has banned nsfw content in the past...)Has anyone heard of Freyja?
The Naked Series Episode 8 | The first time I kissed a girl. Ok ok this is actually also my experience with our first threesome. I had always wanted to kiss a girl, if not just out of curiosity to see if I would like it. Throughout high school and college, the opportunity just didn't present itself. It wasn't until I was 8 years into my current relationship and we matched with this cool girl on Tinder in Thailand.
If you're on your own journey of self exploration, or you're already comfortable with who you are and your sexuality. I'd love to hear from you. What was your experience the first time you kissed a girl? Here's what it was like for me.
Hope you're having a sexy week. I'm in the process of editing the next episode of the Naked Series. Which is about the first time I kissed a girl😉 while you wait for that one... I've just unlocked some of the earlier episodes for you.
"Are you into bondage?" Fielding your anonymous questions and sexy stories through ngl.link/genitalelectric
To answer this question.... Yes. I've had a few friends tie me with ropes. And I really enjoyed exploring the sub space. I'd love to try ropes more from both the sub and dom positions. What about you?
This was one of my favorite shoots from our tour last year! Setting up the neon in the middle of the desert, and lighting up the Joshua Trees added so much drama to the landscape. I would love to have known what the scene looked like to people who drove up on us.
