Y'all, my boobs hurt. A lot. Healing is going well overall but Jesus-God, it feels like going through puberty all over again. Speaking of puberty, not sure if any of you are fans of cosplay or a show called "Big Mouth" on Netflix, but in the before times I used to make extravagant costumes, and one of my favorites was of Connie the Hormone Monstress. Damn near died of heat stroke, but have no regrets!

A few months ago I started excavating the insane tangle of bramble bushes from my backyard, and since at that time I knew I'd be recovering from surgery for WNGD, I snapped a few selfies with my machete. Happy to finally share them with y'all and to give my friend @birthdaysuitboy an anniversary shout-out, as today marks one year we became friends because of the holiday, lol. Also want to give a general Beltane blessing and well wishes for a happy spring to you all! 💜 And as a side note, even though the upgraded boobies are still very much in the early stages of healing, I couldn't be more thrilled with how they look even now. Part of the reason I've been absent recently is that my newest feline darling had her spay surgery, and unfortunately did not recover as quickly as predicted. As a result, I bought her some recovery onesies and a donut collar. The onseies were really for my amusement, and of course when I realized I had a pair of panties that matched, I had to take pictures. Happy Friday-eve everyone!

I love this cocktail because it's easy, and also reminiscent of spring time with the punches of honey and lemon. 2 oz gin (personal favs are Hendricks or Roku) 1 oz honey syrup* 1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice Shake over ice and serve straight up! *Honey syrup is made with equal parts honey and boiling water. Like sugar, the molecules in honey break down and rebond, and then strengthen after being mixed with boiling water, so while mixing it technically dilutes it, it still tastes just as sweet AND is easier to mix into a cocktail. I've been sitting on an announcement for about a month now, unsure if I should say anything, or if I did, how to preface it and how it would be perceived. But if I've learned nothing else in my life, it's that being direct is generally preferable, and given the nature of this announcement, it's not like y'all wouldn't figure it out later. I'm getting a boob job. Technically a 2-in-1, lift and stuff. My reason is pure vanity and the procedure will happen late April. Obviously not going to be creating new content until after everything has healed, and assuming everything goes according to plan (shit happens, and I'm not going to pretend there's no risk). I wanted to be upfront with y'all because the difference is going to be obvious and while I know I don't owe any explanation about what I do with my body, I would feel weird about just dropping that surprise without warning. Another snow day here! I shot a quick set, but couldn't hang for more than five minutes outside because it had started sleeting, which is way worse than just snow. I'll have those edits up later, but wanted to share a few shots from another quick set I shot while clearing out brambles and weeds yesterday to make a path to the back half of my property. Took two machetes and a hedge trimmer, but I managed it, and got some nice shots to boot. Stay warm, lovies! 💜

Happy Friday, all! It's extra happy for me because I'm leaving work early to go get more ink! Some of you may know the story of my first tattoo, but because it's a good one, it bears repeating. Several years ago I had decided to finally get my first tattoo. Researched artists based on friend recommendations, designed the tattoo myself, booked the consult, then the appointment. Day of the appointment came right at the start of that summer's Mercury retrograde (won't bore y'all with my ooky spooky beliefs and interests) which tends to throw things, at least in my life, into chaos. That very day, an hour before the appointment, I got a call from the shop saying the artist was ill and could not accommodate me. Well by that point I was so intent on getting my tattoo -that- day, to exert my will over the Universe, I started calling around to see if any place possibly had room for a walk-in. I ended up talking to a guy at one shop over the phone and explained the situation; last minute cancellation, simple design, already had the design, I'd pay cash, etc, but he just kept saying sorry, they were all booked up. Finally, I asked: Me: Would it help if I mentioned that I'm a hot red head getting her first tattoo? Guy:...... Yup, come in at one. And then I got my first tattoo. ^_^
