Sorry for not posting for a whole life has thrown me some curve balls i.e. losing my Great Dane, her cancer became too painful for her. Anyways, the rock of this week is none other than Quartz! Or SiO2 the most common mineral on the earth surface! It’s found in a lot of other mineral formulas, that are also felsic rocks. I will explain this more in a separate post about this gradient/reaction series rocks go through :)
