At One Health Clubs Oakville — Halo all, I loved todays #workout. Not only was I in a great zone mentally and physically. But, I smashed my old time on the #elliptical. I aimed for 38-39 minutes and hit 43, so all I can say damn I feel good. As for my #backday/#bicepsday I feel a little sore in the lower back, and just waiting to see how I feel in the morning. At One Health Clubs Oakville — Halo all, well that was a fun #playday at the #gym. This new look of the day gets me more motivated to go in for it than just a simple cardio routine. Getting the free range to do whatever I want on play days makes me happier in there. At One Health Clubs Oakville — Halo all, well like I said tonight our trip to the #gym wasn’t anything specific. I just went in to work with no plan on what I was doing. Just did whatever I felt like doing. The main point of tonight was basically just #cardio and keeping me active. So that’s exactly what I was able to accomplish, made it another 32 minutes on the #elliptical, a lot of #shadowboxing and work with the #battleropes left me feeling good and drained. Halo all, so I made this video because like the picture of myself I took awhile back. I’m still trying to be comfortable with my #bodytype. I’ve still got a long journey ahead of me, I’m happy with the progress I’ve made. I’m still working to be better, but I have to learn to let go of the self hatred in my #appearance I still have. It’s hard to have self love when you’ve spent so many years kicking yourself, and taking anyone’s negativity as gospel. It’s a hard #habit to undo, but, with the right training you can do it. Decided for something for my workout today I wanted to see just how long I could go on the #elliptical. Now I wasn’t going to go to an hour…unless I actually made it. At One Health Clubs Oakville — Halo all, let me just start off by saying my #sundayfunday was exactly that. Went to the #gym for my #legday was a spectacular one today. As stated I didn’t do lunges but did make good on my #romaniandeadlift. Cutting the weight was definitely the best option for the time being as I need to work on form above weight. Plus side, starting to see decreases on the scale so that brightened my day. After the gym I was debating a walk, and going to head home for a few minutes to check in on the cat before deciding on heading out. Halo all, well that is a spectacular #cardioday finished at the #gym. Only disappointment was not making the full number of sets on the #stairmaster I was aiming for. But, it’s all good as I made it up with doing more on #eliptical than I thought I could. Also higher number of punches with the 8lb weights was also a plus. Halo all, well I’m happy to say tonight’s #workout was amazing. I did my #pyramidsets for my #benchpress and was able to add 5lbs to each set. Doesn’t seem like a big number but it makes a world of difference in the lift. Feeling more confident about what my results will be come year end, I have faith and a strong feeling that 2023 will be a great year me in regards to my physical, mental, spiritual, and financial wellbeing. Halo all, that was a phenomenal #workout today. Got to really push myself, not only to be better physically. But also work through a very negative mi date today. Was able to really get myself into the zone and get all the #badthoughts out of my head today. Was great to feel like I could do that for a change. Halo all, well a little amusement for you. Included a #blooper of kitty getting in the way lol. But it’s fine, now the unfortunate part of tonight’s #homeworkout was near the end when I dropped a dumbbell on my foot 😭. Thankfully don’t thing it’s broke, but hurt like hell. I’ve got it under ice as I type this. Going to put my feet up and relax the rest of the night. Halo all, yay my #cardioday is done. Oh man the #stairmaster was nothing short of murder. Couldn’t handle more than two minutes on it and only 3 sets of that. Halo all, feeling fantastic after this #legday. Using the #pyramid system on my #deadlift was actually fun…and made more sore lol. But, was still the best choice. Halo all, well no walk after gym as weather went blah lol. But, what I did today in the #gym was good enough. For my #chestday I was able to stick to the #pyramid system on the bench and today I set a personal record for number of reps total. My #tricepsday part was also pretty decent, the #benchpress aspect was far better. I’m definitely going to stick to this. By year end I want the 145 to be the light end of what I’m doing. Halo all, I feel amazing to be back in the glorious #houseofgains. As stated earlier since last workout even though a week ago was a cardio day. It was too long without doing some strength training so I rocked #chestday and #tricepsday. I put a lot of effort in tonight to make up for the fact I missed this place too long. Now only thing I can say about tonight’s #workout that wasn’t great, was my single arm dumbbell incline. I could feel the struggle and as you can see it was definitely hard to do. Not sure why though, I mean it’s the same 50lb weight as I did on the flat chest press. But still made all the same. Looking forward to the workout tomorrow and getting back to my normal self there. Halo all, well first #cardioday of the year is done. Feeling okay about it, one thing I was thinking about while in the gym tonight. Was new faces, the people who start their year off by joining the gym. Now, one thing I will say, is I know the statistics. A lot of people quit the #gym a month or two after joining. I think a little pay it forward goal should be set by not only me but everyone. If you see a new face in your gym, extend a hello, show them what an awesome and welcoming new place it can be. Make them want to stay and come back to the glorious #houseofgains, there were quite a few who did this for me when I had my timid days. Show people what a great place to grow the gym can be, maybe even make a new friend or two.
