This is one of my roosters. He isn’t a normal rooster. He has a fucked leg. So I named him fucked leg. He gets around just fine and is able to eat and drink normally. He just walks a little messed up.
The kittens are doing so good. These are Silvers babies. They have started growing so much. Cindy and Meanas kittens eyes are starting to open. They are getting so big :)
I only had three quail hatch from the last batch. So either there’s something wrong with my incubator or I didn’t have enough males to fertilize the eggs. I should have a good mix of male to females now. So we’ll see next batch if I have anymore, if I don’t it’s probably the incubator.
This is Ralph and my cat Co. They are getting along and sitting together. It’s so cute. I’m excited to see them become friends if they want to be. It’s really if Ralph can handle my cats attitude.
This is one of my lavender Orpington hens. They are almost 4 months old. They should start laying in or around August. So soon I will have laying hens!! I love collecting eggs. It’s a very fun task to do.
This is Rue. She is a good girl. She loves to play with Tuck, Bella and Zayn when outside. She loves to learn and do tricks. It clicks for her. She isn’t good in the car though. She usually gets car sick. She is pretty small for a golden. She only weighed 47 pounds at her last vet visit.
Here are Meanas babies. She had a calico, an orange, and a mostly black one. They are so cute. I like these colors more than Cindy’s kittens. They are all males.
These are my pekin ducks. They are both getting bigger. When they are a little older if either one of them is a male their tail feathers will start to curl. I kinda am hoping for a boy because I think that’s cute. I hope I have a pair. But the chances of that are low.
These are my fainting goats. They have been eating the grass and weeds. I think with the grass being twice as tall as them it should last them tell winter to eat it all down. The buckling is small enough to get through the fencing in some areas, he sticks by thankfully.
This is my cat. That’s what I call her. Her name is Co. She just turned 5 this year. She seems to be starting to like Ralph the kitten otherwise she doesn’t really like too many dogs or cats I have. She likes to sleep on the bed every night. She can be pretty cuddly. But likes to be the only thing cuddling me.
This is Silver. She is still pregnant. I’m not sure how long she’s been pregnant but her sisters had their kittens a week ago. They all seemed to be the same amount pregnant. The other two had three so I’m excited to see how many she has, if it’s 3 too.
This is Cindy and her batch of kittens. She had them in the drawer under my bed. She had 3 kittens. They are super cute. I love having kittens. They are almost a week old already.
My baby quail are doing so good. They are feathering out already. My next batch of quail are going to be hatching next week. I’m hoping to have another batch around this size and I'm also hoping more hatch this time around.
This is Silver. If you can’t tell she’s pregnant!! Her other two sisters were also pregnant. She is the last one to have her kittens. I’ve been trying to keep an eye on her but she keeps disappearing. I’m sure she’s trying to find a safe place.
I got four fainting goats over the weekend. They are so small and cute. I got 3 females that are 6 months old and the male is 4 months old. The male is the brown and white one. They are a great addition. I’m so happy I got them ☺️
My quail are doing good. I have 34 adults. Most are females and they lay good eggs. I’m excited to be finishing their quail enclosure. It should a way better environment for them. I think it can hold around 50 quail. Then I’d still have my quail tower and other quail cage to keep anywhere between 20-50 more. I’m not sure how many I want. Right now I’m able to sell all the eggs easily. I’ve been requested their meat before but last time I did a bad job so I didn’t sell any lol.
So my pekin ducks are almost full grown!! They are massive. I love them. They aren’t really friendly though. I try to hold them and give them treats but they just quack. I’ve never had friendly ducks. I wish they were. They are so cute. I love their beaks. I don’t think I’ve mentioned it before but one of my ducks were blind in one eye when I got it. That one is doing well. It is still very aware of its surroundings.
They are all sprouting so much. I feel like they’ve grown even more since taking this video. I just ordered my weed barrier for my garden. So it should be coming this next week. So I’ll be able to start on it very soon. I’m so excited to get these in the ground!!
This goats is named bunny. It was the name by the breeder. She fits that name though. She’s very jumpy. She will eat a little out of my hand now. But still pretty skiddish. I’m hoping she comes around.
This is Bo Bo. He is my most physco dog I own. He has to be put on a runner outside so he doesn’t run away. I am suppose to be getting an inground fence for my dogs so none of them can leave the area I’m doing. I’m planning on getting around 7 acres done. The company keeps rescheduling me though. I’ve wanted this done since March and have been trying to get them to come get it done since then. They started one day for about an hour then left because the ground was too wet. So I’m so excited for Bo when it’s complete he can finally run free and I won’t have to worry about him. When he likes to run away he likes to run and not let anyone catch him until he’s ready. Which usually is the next day unless I can catch him trying to get my goats. He’s obsessed with the goats and wanting to try and eat them. The in ground fence goes around all chicken and goat enclosures so they would have to break multiple barriers to get any animals. Hoping the in ground fence deters them enough.
I have a lot of plants starting to sprout. It’s so exciting to watch them grow. Most of what you see coming up cucumbers, beans and pumpkins. I’m excited to get them planted in the ground!
I put in around 25 quail eggs in my incubator today. I will add more tomorrow with the ones they lay. I’m so excited to have more quail. They are such great additions to the farm. They grow fast and are pretty quick profit return.
I’ve had 10 quail hatch so far. They are so cute and all seem to be doing well. They are so small. It’s one of my favorite things about hatching them is seeing them when they are this tiny. I don’t think any more of my eggs will hatch. I didn’t have a male with all my females I dont think. So not all of my eggs were fertilized.
My little chicks aren’t so little anymore. They are starting to get actual feathers now. This is my favorite batch of chickens for the year. I’m so excited for them to get fully grown.
My quail have been doing good. I got four dozen eggs in the past two days. I’m still working on there new quail coop. I’m excited for when they are finally able to move into it. I also have those 36 quail eggs still in the incubator. They should start hatching this Sunday!
I started some pumpkin seeds a little while ago and one’s sprouting! I love pumpkins. They take up a lot of space though. I love how when the pumpkins are ready it’s basically fall.
So something awful happened. I brought these girls home yesterday. And I lost one!!! So what happened is that I got home. I then went to go get everything ready in the boy goat pen because that’s where I wanted them so they wouldn’t be with the other goats because I didn’t want them to get bullied and the grass is about two feet tall in there. I bring one goat over and set her down gently in the pen and as soon as I let her go she went crazy. Like she’s never been in a pen before. Just sprinting in every direction into the fences. I went to get her sister so she would hopefully feel better. But she didn’t and they both just were going crazy. I went to go get them some water and hope they would calm down. But they didn’t. They both hoped over 4 foot fence and got out. I was able to catch one because she went up the driveway. And the other one I didn’t even see the direction she went. I looked everywhere yesterday. Nonstop walking the property. There were no signs. I don’t think she stayed on the property. I tried leaving grain and hay out. I look before I let the dogs out everytime. But I think I lost her. It’s so sad. She was only 9 weeks old and now she’s alone.
