The melodic sound of windchimes lets out a soft ringing as you gently push open the old wooden door to escape from the cold and bitter air. It's that weird seasonal place between Winter and Spring where the days can't decide what the weather will be until it's actively happening. You opted for the Spring wardrobe today, a mistake, as the piercing wind slams the door shut, ruining your inconspicuous entrance.
The inside of the cafe is bright and warm, the smell of warm bread wafting to your nose. You take a seat at one of the many empty tables, scoping the room to realize that there's no one but you in the entire establishment. Suddenly, a bumbling voice calls out from behind the stall, sounding overly eager.
"I'll be right with you, sir! Ahh, thank you for coming in!"
You see the girl... or, rather the girl's ruffly pink attire, her back facing towards you while she leans over the bar to grab a menu from the stack. She excitedly marches toward you, menu in hand, and stands in front of your table with a beaming grin. You study her appearance fully, feeling yourself get warmer by the second just from her presence.
The girl in front of you is short in stature, at least two full heads beneath your chin, and wears her hair in a milk tea brown bob that curls at her chin, framing her face perfectly. She's staring at you expectantly, with big honey gold eyes, seemingly not much thought behind them. Her smile is tiny and puckered, lips covered in a pink gloss. Your eyes trail down to her questionable wardrobe, a big fluffy pink dress with matching petticoat underneath, and big white rabbit ears perched on her head covered in matching bows. Her waist looks tiny and frail in comparison to the shape of the dress, giving her a feminine aura that's hard to ignore.
"U-um... hello?", she says shyly, smile looking a bit confused now.
"Can I get you anything?"
