Yesterdays encounters! 10mi in to our 16mi hike we made a friend! Alpine mountain goats are very common in the PNW, living up near alpine lakes on mountain sides. Although beautiful and calm animals- it’s very important to keep your space from wildlife to respect their environment!

I LOVE ice baths! There are so many positives to daily ice baths. outdoor adventures can be very taxing on the body, whether it be hiking, backpacking or even just camping. I use ice baths to help reduce overall inflammation and keeping my immune system on top for the next adventure!

All smiles when we go off trail! Going off the beaten path is always my first choice, as long as it’s permitted. Many parks have designated areas which do not allow foot traffic for delicate foliage! Be mindful of these areas to ensure we keep nature beautiful for the next visitors!
