Hello 😌

This morning I woke up at 8.40, mid-dream, and had to go to the bathroom. I thought that was it for me, I was awake. But then a miracle happened! I fell back asleep. For over 3 hours. I woke up at 12 feeling confused but incredibly grateful for such a mammoth lie-in. I think I really needed it 🥲

As a result, I’m feeling quite a bit better. Still the lingering feelings of a cold but definitely at the end of it which I am SO grateful for.

I took these sleepy morning photos to celebrate 🥰

I have also finally compiled a wish list for things I really need for my new place - there’s obviously no pressure at all to get me anything, but if you’re so inclined, I’d be so so grateful 🥹 link below!

Hello my lovelies!!

Apologies for the silence - I’ve been busy moving and stressing about moving for the last few weeks 😅

I finally moved in properly over the weekend!

Everything is still really shabby - the sink is leaking, no plugs in the sinks, I was told there would be a fridge/freezer and washing machine but there wasn’t so I had to get my own. I managed to source both for free but turns out the fridge doesn’t work properly and the washingmachine is spewing out dirt left right and centre, so I’m gonna have to get new ones! 😂 a lot to get done. 🫣

I also need a couch, some curtains, a shower curtain and just a bunch of cleaning stuff as well as some other bits. I realise now I’m just rambling about my to do list 😅 sorry!

Anyway, the point is I am IN and I now have the space to create and work properly. I’m very grateful to have made it this far and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support. 💚

I might drop a little house wish list of stuff I need but I haven’t listed everything out properly yet, so if that’s something you’d be interested in, keep your eyes peeled 😌

I got the keys to my new place!

I haven’t moved in yet as there were some issues that need to be addressed and I haven’t got anyone to help me move until next week, but yay!

I have to get a bunch of adult stuff - sadly not the fun kind - like a fridge/freezer, washing machine and vacuum and just furniture in general!

I know I should be excited but I am stressed tf out as it’s all a bit overwhelming, big picture-wise, but one step at a time eh lads? 🫡

It feels so good to be able to say that.

When I was a teenager, being slim was all the rage. I used to diet, buy fad products and cry endlessly over the way I looked. I looked at slimmer girls with flat stomachs with such envy. I wish I could go back and tell myself I was wonderful. I wish I could have seen the similarities between myself and the Ancient Greek goddess statues that are marvelled at by millions. I wish I had the confidence then that I do now.

But I am so, so grateful to not feel that way anymore.
