In this cozy atmosphere, I managed to binge the entire Sweetpea.
Although, let’s be honest, “cozy” and this story don’t belong in the same sentence, ahaha

The main character, Rhiannon, has been through so much. From childhood bullying and school struggles to loneliness in adulthood and constant disrespect — even from her sister. After her father’s death, her life completely falls apart, and she takes a dark turn toward revenge.

She’s a master manipulator and doesn’t feel the slightest guilt. For her, killing isn’t just a way to release stress — it’s her way of reclaiming control in a life where she’s always felt powerless and invisible...

Honestly, Rhiannon is an absolute bomb of a character! She feels like a walking embodiment of all the trauma and rebellion humans can carry. She’s angry, disillusioned, dripping with sarcasm — and yes, killing gives her a twisted sense of satisfaction and control.

No spoilers here, but I seriously recommend giving it a watch!

👋 Hey hey! Today, I’ve got a little story from my life for you. It’s about dating, psychology, confidence, pick-up lines, and, of course, some funny moments!

There’s one guy I’ll never forget. He was a total genius — top of his class, math competition winner, chess champ. A real intellectual. But life isn’t always as smooth as solving equations. His attempts to flirt with me? Let’s just say they were... awkward, but super persistent. Some of his lines felt like they were straight out of a pick-up artist manual, which made it even funnier.

So one time, he was walking me home. We’re almost at my door when he goes:

💬 “You’re pulling out your keys early — that’s a sign you want me to kiss you.”

At first, I was like, Wait, what?! Then I asked:

💬 “Why would you think that? I just want to get inside faster!”

He got a little flustered and finally admitted:

💬 “I watched that movie Hitch* with Will Smith. It said if a girl pulls out her keys early, it’s a hint she wants a kiss.”*

I couldn’t help but burst out laughing. 🙈
He was so adorably naive, trying to follow the “Hitch method.” And you know what? After that, I watched the movie myself. There’s actually a scene about how “cookie-cutter methods only work on cookie-cutter girls.” But the right girl? She’s a whole different story.

After that, I started using his “key theory” in my own way. When I went out with guys I wasn’t really into, I’d pull out my keys early and watch their reaction.

Then, right at my door, I’d casually mention the movie Hitch and ask:

💬 “So, what do you think this means?”

And, of course, I’d always add:

💬 “Not this time, though!”

😂 It always got such funny reactions. I’ll admit, it was my little guilty pleasure. But come on, it was so much fun, right? Honestly, shoutout to that guy for giving me such a cute and hilarious experience. Even if those methods are totally outdated, the memories are priceless!
