Soooo yeahhh, my car got totaled last weekend and now I have a fun new lil $11k loan on a new (used) car and my bank account is just fully drained and so is my will power and emotions. It's weird because like...I really needed a better car and this lil used car that I picked out is a really great car and I really love it but like...my aveo was my baby. I've had her since 2013 and she was my first car, her name was Priscilla and even though she was a disaster on wheels...I drove so many places and did so much with her and I thought I had a few more years to drive her around or whatever. After a year of her mostly sitting because of this pandemic and me struggling to go out much at all in the last few years anyway...I hadn't really driven her that much in a while and that kinda just makes me realize that I've wasted a lot of time that I can't get back and the world is always moving even when I am standing still. I don't know, it feels incredibly silly to mourn a car but I am just generally sad right now. It is what it is.
