Ballet lesson of the day! Drop swings 💜 I do these in between lessons at the barre at the beginning, middle, and end of my entire ballet barre to help open my hips and really get that ooey gooey movement I love to feel when performing lots of leg techniques. These swings can be done in an attitude position or on a straight leg. I like to do 8 of each 💚

Can’t get enough of a great high waisted leotard, black tights, and character shoes! Character shoes are what most classic jazz and musical theater dance shows are performed in. A little heel adds length to the leg and really emphasizes the femininity of the movement 💜
