It's a tough one today. We mix in some more cardio type work into our push day workout. We will be mixing it up again now moving forward. Especially as we build strength through consistency!

Tomorrow - 8/15 is going to be a rest day. If you'd like to do a workout on your own I'd suggest doing a 30 minute vinyassa yoga lesson on youtube. Or just get a good stretch in on your own, go for a nice long walk. I'll be back either Thursday evening or Friday morning depending how work goes, how beat I am after my first few days, and hot brutally hot it is... it got up to 106° here today and my apartment is sweltering.

So I have a hearing at 9:30 in my battle trying to get unemployment, and the boss is out of town this weekend so I have to into work early ( which is good, I desperately need the hours) but I'm not sure I'm going to have time to do a workout beween.. I'll do my best to squeeze something in tho!

I'm feeling a bit under the weather today - tummy cramps 😫.... so the squat challenge may be put on hold for a day... if I feel better later I will knock out at least 100... but my stomach is so bloated I look pregnant right now.... 0 calorie sweetener did not agree with me!

Moving right along with our squat challenge. Hit 100 today with basically one big rest pause set. I'd call that a pretty significant achievement given that just a few weeks ago I was hitting the wall around 40 or 50.
As I get in better shape, I'll be feeling better about being in front of the camera as well... meaning more .... "other" videos will be coming as well 😈

This is why injuries suck... I feel motivated to train today, and want to keep the momentum going. But if you don't rest and allow an injury to heal correctly, it never will.... and will lead to nagging chronic issues that never really go away.... starting when I did, I lacked this wisdom. The result is 28 years worth of accumulated tweaks, sprains, micro tears and strains that now cause some degree of chronic pain no matter what I do.
In my experience, you're much better off taking a few days and just walking and stretching, maybe do a light flow yoga routine, and letting yourself full heal from an injury than trying to train around the injury or through it. SO..... Take a rest day, go for a nice long 3 mile walk and get a good stretch in when you get home. That's today's workout.
Tomorrow I'm going to have a bodyweight leg day regardless... its going to be rough tho... be ready..

Good morning OF fam.. I start my new job this morning. I anxiety through the roof right now. I will do my best to make a naked workout video when I get home tonight. Once I settle into a routine I will make a more dependable schedule for workouts.
