After waiting for it to become completely dried out, I’m now re-sanding it down and restoring it with some mahogany finish! 🥰😍 Reminder to everyone with wooden furniture: Do NOT leave wooden pieces out in the rain where it’ll get too overly exposed to outdoor elements unless it has the correct sealer!

just snagged this chair off of facebook marketplace to use in a project of mine!! going to sand it down first and then attempt to do photo transferring onto the wood panels! reminder to anyone who’s working on a project with wood: it’s not only cheaper to repurpose wood but also more sustainable and helps save the trees ❤️

experimenting with the oldest form of photo printing called chlorophyll printing! this is a really fun, easy, and creative way to transfer photos using only leaves, the sun and a preserving wax! slide to see how my experience with it turned out yesterday!

However, I wanted to add a little something extra so I added on this cutting board which I installed with some gear so that it’s able to fold down whenever I need it to. You can tell by the different bamboo shades that I did it myself 😅 but hey that’s what makes it unique! Living in New York City, you have to create things that work with the lack of space you’ll have in your apartment.
