I have been to the ER twice for the worst episodes. They have now labeled me a stoner and I felt like I got absolutely the WORST treatment. Thank you idaho. They diagnosed me both times with Cannabis hypermesis syndrome. I just got off a 10 day break and had an episode not smoking! I have only been smoking since June this has been going on for years. I have requested to see a stomach specialist for Heartburn and GERD. I got very cheerful on the phone because the woman that answered was like this is 2022 and was mind blown at how awful my 2 experiences were at the ER. My friend saw another one of my episodes this one was 18 hours of constant vomiting and other digestive issues and begged to take me to the er. . . I won't even waste my time unless I am on the brink of death (I was able to drink more fluids and electrolytes and get the anti nausea pills down this episode because they had stuff on hand in their home) I told the doctor over the phone my quality of life has been very poor and I am sick of living on the BRAT diet. Between days of not being able to eat, getting sick and just being so tired I'm not getting the nutrients I need. I'm trying to be an athlete and I have made goals and huge steps of 2022 and now I want to carry my goals into 2023. So hopefully I can get in to see if I have allergies to certain foods or I'll forever be on antacid and antiheartburns. I see so much light at the end of the tunnel and I am beyond ecstatic. I felt tears tbh when I was on the phone with her because I made it CLEAR I wanted an open minded doctor and i was miserable she made me see hope. 2022 the year of medical work and 2023 hopefully the year they get solved! And let's pray to fcking God I have a medical provider who just won't chalk it up to marijuana sickness when it's clearly a stomach issue!
