Alright, so this year is me 3 years Alcohol Free.
Before you start being like "Wow!!!" don't worry, I didn't want to do it. I had to because of my health and medications. It blew, and I still hate it.
So I did Barenaked Ladies "Alcohol" to remember my love/hate relationship with something that shaped most of my younger years; and now is completely gone. How poetic.

Alright, I'm going to drop this first edit. I'm still learning on Premier and you know what? I need help. LMAO.
I would love to have a video editor who was okay with taking direction from me, but it's hard when you're a lady who gets naked. You have to make sure every party involved (and spouse!) is okay with it. So I'm kind of stuck doing my own right now.
I really do think of myself as a director. I do the set, choreography, I tell the story. It's all me. And I make do with what I have at my disposal! Women of color can be talented and multifaceted too, ya'll. Don't question us.

Today is Labor Day! That means Dragons are home when I'd usually be creating.
I've been active in the Fred Durst Discord and here's me hoping he's going to be okay with this. I did send him a message, so my life is complete. I wanted to do this song because I've tried every other way to succeed. I tried getting that damn degree, being in politics for 15+ years...but now I'm doing it MY WAY.
I think I shot this one in May. You can tell I was still getting the hang of video editing. I had been using Splice, but to get actual artistic editing ON POINT, you need a little more. So I ended up caving and getting an Adobe subscription. ugh.
I want to be working alongside artists, so if you are one or know of anyone who would like to use my abilities, hit me up!
