As some of you know, I had weight loss surgery in Feb 2020 (vertical sleeve gastrectomy) & so I thought I’d post some of the nudes I take to show myself I’ve lost weight/my journey. I don’t speak very often on my weight because there’s so much stigma alone around loss/size etc but one of the things I’ve gained since having WLS is body dysmorphia. To put it simply, my brain doesn’t quite register that I look the way I do & on many occasions, I still see the me from 40kgs ago. I take photos like this every now & then to look back on & prove to myself that I am actually thinner now. This post isn’t supposed to be sexy, just some insight into my daily struggles & a peek into my camera gallery of nudes 💕
