Another one with the Lumix, plus our new light. I need to play around with it, and I think it will actually be most useful after dark, so I think as the weather gets warmer, I'll have a lot more flexibility for not only what I can wear, but how I can shoot!

Can you see a difference? I shot this one with my Lumix rather than my phone. The trouble with it is that I still have to record audio on my phone, and can't see myself as I'm smoking, without holding the phone up to view the app. And the trouble with my backdrop is.... wind. lol

I noticed the light hitting my boyfriend's cigarette smoke in a nice way yesterday afternoon, so I quickly set up my camera in the same spot to see what it would look like on camera. Not bad, but I need to try it with a backdrop and another light. Today was totally overcast, however, so I didn't get the chance.

Well it’s still been snowy and rainy and cold so I don’t think it’s going to work out for a live-stream this weekend. Oh how I hate cold weather. I’m looking into the option of a large backyard tent for myself, but the problem is that they aren’t really “permanent” structures that could handle bad weather if I left it up, and setting it up twice a week isn’t practical. I’m still brainstorming…. 🌧️
