It was so fun to see the city, the people, and to do comedy there. I went with my friend Jeffrey, who had never been to Chicago. I showed him the bean and the art institute, as well as other obligatory Chicago tourist spots (Lou Malnatis). Comedy there was such a blast. We made new friends and I made some enemies, as is comedy sometimes. Friends have been telling me I overreact. And they’re usually right but there’s something about a lack of respect that fuels me. Thankfully I have very little power so until then you’re safe fuckos! Kidding. There’s something magical about drinking in Chicago. The orange street lights and the midwestern niceties and cheap drinks mix together smoothly. Plus the public transportation is incredible if you like people. Get a few drinkies there if you haven’t and let me know what you think. Also, what are some things you’d like to see on here? Besides (or including) sexual. I’m part of a joke band Rays Berning, we like to improvise comedy music and always seem to sing about Rick Rubin (if you know you know). I’m really trying to use this platform as a way to get rough ideas out. As I keep posting material i’d love to hear your thoughts on it (does it suck, does it need work, perhaps a different direction or angle that interests you. For now i’m writing into the void except some of my fellow OF creators, but as the followers transfer over i’d like to make this a way to communicate with everybody. Anyway, Jeffrey and I are about to record a podcast episode, should be uploaded later tonight.
