And accentuated the natural curvatures of my body.
The warmth of its rays radiated heat and energy, Raw, powerful, and life-giving.
It’s mighty beams poured effortlessly through windows, It tickled treetops, and the lush greenery that surrounded me
Casting shadows that separated light from darkness
As well as reflections of my naked body on glass.
On this day, Amaterasu became my spiritual muse.
The Japanese deity, the mythological Goddess of the Sun.
She illuminates Heaven and Earth
Symbolizing life, growth, and fertility
She nourishes all living things great and small. She is the pure embodiment and personification of our sun.
She spoke to me, and I worshipped her
And all the gifts that her sunlight gives us. ☀️
