Since I’m on a proper vacation, yesterday I decided to spend a week in another amazing hotel!😍🥰 I think the photos from here are going to turn out even cooler!🐰🌸 Plus, they have a private beach that’s only accessible to hotel guests. And the grounds are super lush — there are even bushes shaped like elephants, haha!😎 The breakfast here is fabulous too! I’m loving the vegan Banh Mi, and the local chef makes crêpes for me using dairy-free batter. Sometimes I treat myself to mango or raspberry sorbet for breakfast as well!😎💕 I visited the Coconut Prison! It’s a museum not far from the hotel — we rode bikes there with a guide!🚴♀️ The prison was built in 1949 by French colonialists and was later used during the Vietnam War to detain captured Viet Cong and Northern soldiers. The conditions were absolutely horrific, and the museum features a lot of torture scenes…🤯 The museum itself is basically several original prison blocks — a pretty intense and eye-opening experience😢 When you’re vacationing in the tropics, places like this aren’t the first thing that come to mind. Definitely don’t want to end up in a tropical prison, haha!😁 After the prison, we stopped by a fish sauce factory! I didn’t try any, but the preparation process was fascinating! From what I gathered, it was mainly a show wing — a way to get tourists to buy some fish sauce to take home, haha!😅 PS: Today’s set is wonderful!
