Added 2024-08-07 06:27:19 +0000 UTCOn the second and last part of my trip to Namibia I got to spend some time in the Namib desert, which is the oldest deserts in the world. It’s also home to some of the worlds largest sand dunes, and climbing these was one of the better glute exercises I’ve had in my life. Also a little shoutout to Namibia for overturning the law criminalizing homosexuality recently. Still a long way to go, but a big step in the right direction :)
That concludes my traveling adventures for the summer. Overall an amazing trip. Really recommend Southern Africa if you’re into animals, good food and wine, stunning nature, or just a bit of a thrill seeker.
