A bit of Heather Monique history . . .
In 2015, I gave up my full-time job using my MBA in Silicon Valley to focus on being a new mom. My husband and I tried for 8 years to get pregnant. We suffered 5 losses during that time. Modeling was a form of art therapy for me. The creative outlet was very healing. And after subscription based sites emerged allowing me to monetize on my artwork, I was able to afford IVF — which provided a way for me to have my daughter. Being a model and artist on this platform allows me to stay at home and raise her, basing my shoot schedule around her care. I consider myself very blessed and I’m proud to do the work that I do!
