hey ๐Ÿ˜” iโ€™m still mega sick. i have covid and influenza A, bu..

hey ๐Ÿ˜” iโ€™m still mega sick. i have covid and influenza A, but i think the flu is what is really kicking my ass tbh. you may remember how i got sick in january - fever, exhaustion, throwing up - and i ended up with that dark, spotty rash covering my arms, legs and chest. i thought it was my psych medications causing the issue at the time, but even when i took a break from them the rash persisted. i had it for a little over 2 weeks before the bumps finally became little scars and i told you guys about my medication theory. i even told my psychiatrist about the theory because i didnโ€™t know what else could explain it. wellโ€ฆ i now have an explanation for why iโ€™ve developed this annoying ass rash twice this year and ngl i am kinda relieved to now have a diagnosis: Influenza type A, Flu Rash *(3/5/25 update: negative for flu rash, positive for dermatitis), and the current Covid strain.now that the cause of my symptoms has been identified as Influenza A, i am gonna get vaccinated next week and then hopefully i can stop this painful infection from happening a third time. โ€” i am gonna list my symptoms below in order of first to last so that you can stay informed, aware and healthy: 1. small, itchy, colorless blisters on arms, legs, and chest note: i made the mistake of scrubbing my skin too aggressively while i was showering (my body was super itchy i couldnโ€™t help it) and a few hours later, the blisters became red, exposed, and irritated. so be careful and use a steroidal itch cream instead of doing what i did. 2. physical exhaustion (even after sleeping) 3. intense aching in muscles and joints 4. long-lasting migraines (mainly when waking up and after coughing) 5. severe hot & cold flashes + high fever + hot & cold sweats 6. runny nose + congestion 7. aggressive cough + chest blockage + sore throat 8. brain lag + difficulty thinking if you have any of these symptoms, i would recommend getting yourself checked out by a medical professional; staying hydrated; letting yourself rest, and grabbing some prednisone, ibuprofen/tylenol, + vicks vapocool throat spray if possible (those are the only things that are working for me). stay safe. and thank you all for your patience. hopefully iโ€™ll be better soon. much love.
