Added 2024-06-03 21:08:02 +0000 UTCSo something awful happened. I brought these girls home yesterday. And I lost one!!! So what happened is that I got home. I then went to go get everything ready in the boy goat pen because that’s where I wanted them so they wouldn’t be with the other goats because I didn’t want them to get bullied and the grass is about two feet tall in there. I bring one goat over and set her down gently in the pen and as soon as I let her go she went crazy. Like she’s never been in a pen before. Just sprinting in every direction into the fences. I went to get her sister so she would hopefully feel better. But she didn’t and they both just were going crazy. I went to go get them some water and hope they would calm down. But they didn’t. They both hoped over 4 foot fence and got out. I was able to catch one because she went up the driveway. And the other one I didn’t even see the direction she went. I looked everywhere yesterday. Nonstop walking the property. There were no signs. I don’t think she stayed on the property. I tried leaving grain and hay out. I look before I let the dogs out everytime. But I think I lost her. It’s so sad. She was only 9 weeks old and now she’s alone.
