yesterday I went on a border run to extend my stay in Thailand. I hadn’t done one in over a year since I had a longer-term visa, and honestly, I kind of missed it. the trip was long — four hours each way, plus about an hour at the border in Cambodia — but I got lucky with my seat. I took the very back one in the minibus, which reclined almost flat, so I managed to sleep through most of the journey. on the way back, we stopped at a cafeteria where food was included in the trip cost.
