We searched for her owners for over a month before giving up and officially calling her ours. She is my velcro dog, she goes everywhere with me, attached to my hip. We took her in for a physical as well as yearly shots since we have zero history. Unfortunately with the routine tests she tested positive for heartworms. If you have never had to deal with this kind of treatment you are lucky. It is very expensive and hard on the animal. I am waiting to hear back that the medicine is in so we can start her first dose. I am starting a fundraiser to help pay for her treatment. They quoted us a price but we wont know until we get her started to see how many doses she will need. Please wish her a speedy recovery and send her some extra strength because she is going to need it. Ill keep you all updated!
