This trip to Thailand has been so different from the last time I was here. The biggest difference? i came during the rainy season. It’s not pouring every single day, but let me tell you, almost every night it rains. At first, I was worried, what if I couldn’t catch those gorgeous sunsets? What if the rain stopped me from visiting certain places? I was stuck in my head, overthinking things I couldn’t control. Then I remembered something Nikki told me about her trip to Bali in December, which is also the rainy season. She said the rain didn’t ruin her trip it added something special to it. So, I decided to change my perspective instead of stressing over the weather. And honestly? letting go of my expectations made all the difference.
