





Sunday supper was a success. And I finally ordered a counter top fryer too, should be here next week. I guess I’m finally over operating two cast irons for frying lol. I used leeks, white onion, bacon, and garlic to start the greens, which was a mix of kale and collards. Made the biscuits and baked potatoes and spaghetti squash too. And I’m always doing something a little different with my fried chicken mix. Today it was about 50:50 flour:panko bread crumbs, along with the seasonings, and I brined the chicken in seasoned buttermilk for 24 hours. Yum! Now I need a foot rub after cooking all day.
