Okay here’s the recipe to make dinner rolls, if you’d like to make them along with @tris_love and I tomorrow, or if you want to make them after watching. This batch size will make 15-20 dinner rolls. You can scale up if needed. I always use a food scale to measure my ingredients but I converted it for Tris and those who don’t have a scale. If you make these, your family is guaranteed to love them. If you want them for Thursday, you should make the dough tomorrow so it can rest overnight in the fridge!
500 grams Bread Flour (3 cups + 2 Tablespoons)
6 grams instant yeast (1 1/4 teaspoons) (see picture)
50 grams sugar (1/4 cup)
10 grams salt (1 3/4 teaspoons)
250 grams milk (1 cup)
1 each large egg
125 grams butter, soft (1/2 cup)
If you’re making these, it’s best to use instant yeast or bread machine yeast or rapid rise yeast, NOT active dry yeast. But if you have to use active dry just lmk and I’ll give you the correct measurement.
