Montenegro, Kotor, old town The city got its present name from the Byzantine name Decateron. The consonance with cats came about by accident, but it is no accident that Kotor is considered the city of cats - there are hundreds of them in the old town! After traveling around the world, ships kept cats on board to hunt rats and mice and keep them away from the goods and supplies on board. Once the ships docked in port, the ship's cats would head to the towns along the bay and settle there permanently.
I love them, that's why I went there to see the nature ! Here is my collection of cats in the city - they are literally on every step and all very beautiful they all want to hug and warm !
