I have been lowering the dose for a few weeks now and finally took the plunge and came off them. I did it because life is alright right now and I don’t want to be using them for the rest of my life. It’s been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster and, in retrospect, I probably should have told my boyfriend. But in my defence the times I was “emotional” with him felt justified at the time. He didn’t kick me out, or have me sectioned, so it worked out. Anyway, one exciting development is my sex drive is returning. It was never completely gone but certainly muted. Today though, it has been overwhelming. I didn’t know I missed it, but I did!
