To shower I sit up in bed with my feet dangling off the edge. I can do this myself as my bed is like a hospital one, with the control to raise it's height and change the angle of either end. So I can raise the head end until I'm sitting, then drag my legs off the edge. I also raise the bed itself so my feet are flat on the floor. I then need to get undressed. I need my boyfriend for this. When I'm feeling well I can usually do my top but he helps with the rest. Today he is removing everything so I'm sat here naked. I then transfer to a special shower wheelchair and wheel off to the shower.
