Honestly I’m not entirely sure I would go back to China if I could, the heat was oppressive and the way that literally everything was done through an app while people were constantly trying to upsell us was uncomfortable, not to mention the fact that getting a visa to go was catastrophically annoying, spending 8 hours in an immigration office. But the sights and the food… might be worth it again
