Go down to transparency and click Add alpha channel. Step 4 (two options)/Option one: You can use the eraser and do that way. Step 4/ option two: Click on color tool and click the background. Step 5/ Option two: But if your background is the same as any of the image. You will have to change the background color. Step 6/Option two: Pick a color not on the image and use the bucket fill tool and change the background. Step 7/ Option two: Repeat step 4 (option two).
