I woke up early so I'd have enough time to shower and get ready for the glory hole shoot. Then I laid down and set an alarm so I'd be ready for pickup. Well I slept thru it. 13 minutes later I woke up and frantically searched for my phone and the shoot had been cancelled. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. I fucked up.
I called the director and he said we could do the shoot Tuesday still and I apologized profusely.
Well, then I got a call that one of the guys from the gbang last night tested positive for chlamydia. Fuck.
So now all my shoots are cancelled. Just in case. Aka I'm now making 0 profit on this trip.
I'm not mad at the guy. He had been tested and was clean within the past 2 weeks... That's the industry standard. It was just his newest test that came back positive. And this happens in this industry, it's not all that rare. Shit happens.
But it still sucks. I just wanted yall to be aware that this trip has now completely changed because of his positive result, and I'll be heading home early because of it to start some Antibiotics. 😔
I'm so sad about this. But I should be back in October and hopefully everything will go according to plan then!
I wanna be clear: canceling these shoots was 100% the RIGHT THING TO DO.
I immediately scheduled an appointment with my OB/GYN, called in an RX for chlamydia (regardless of whether I got it or not - just to be safe), and contacted all my play partners and informed them and the director of what was going on.
As a performer, I have a huge responsibility to protect not only myself and my partners, but others in the industry as well. If you're headed to a shoot and no one has showed you test results.... CANCEL. Do not accept any shoot where the talent won't show you recent testing. You deserve to know how to protect your health. I hope every model can make these same choices and put their health first ♥
But also know that this happens. Incubation periods are a thing. His results were *within* the 14 day industry standard. He got a new test because he was about to reach that timeframe - and HE ALERTED ME as soon as he got the results. We run this risk every time we play, whether it is for fun or for a video. But the *right* thing to do is to be transparent, and I hope that every talent in the industry, let alone those I work with, does the same. No $$$ is worth spreading something that can, and should, be shut down as soon as it is known.
P.s. I only sucked his cock. Chlamydia isn't a death sentence and the odds of transmission are lower with oral than vaginal. But... It's annoying, it's painful, and it should *never* be transmitted. If you know you have it, you do the right thing and you communicate it. If you think you may have been exposed, you do the right thing, and you communicate it. Period. Full stop. End of story. My respect for him, and my willingness to shoot with him in the future should the opportunity arise, just increased 10x. But right now, I'm returning home without any paid shoots and *that's the right thing to do*.
