In 1997, RuPaul invited Chi Chi LaRue and I to appear on the premiere episode of his first talk show for V-H1, "The RuPaul Show". According to him, we were asked to be on the show for good luck (RuPaul had visited the cast and crew on the set of "High Tide" in 1996, and was a big supporter of gay porn).
The musical guest on this show was an all girl band called Wild Orchid, whose lead singer was Stacy Ferguson (now of The Black Eyed Peas).
