I used to be the type to give people the benefit of the doubt—even when they didn’t deserve it. I’d over-give, over-trust, over-love. And guess what? Some people will take and take until there’s nothing left.

But here’s the plot twist—I learned. I learned to protect my energy, to set boundaries, and to never shrink myself just to make someone else comfortable
