



































So, the second day was crazier - in the morning we walked around our Russian-Chinese district, went to look at the local popular shopping center "Pineapple" (there will be more photos of this later) and had a snack there on the 4th floor where the food courts are located. I had a large portion of soup with cabbage, pieces of beef, chopped tomatoes, green onions and a boiled egg - it was tasty and a little spicy (I love and can comfortably eat spicy foods ðĪŠ), but the portion was really huge so I left half of the dish uneaten âĶ After that, we went to look at the beach, which by the way was very close to our hotel, which made me very happy. The beach is clean and well maintained. On the side of the hotels there are a bunch of small establishments that offer food and drink. Many places are just opening (or recovering) after Covid - it's great to see it with your own eyes when life begins to bloom again right in front of you. By the way, the tourist city of Sanya opened about 4 months ago - both for us foreigners and for Chinese living in other parts of China. Therefore, many of the things that used to work may be closed or just starting to work again ð In the evening we returned to the shopping center, next to which there is an open-air market called Bikini Bottom (no wonder the shopping center is a pineapple ð ). An amazingly diverse market - from sea turtles and oysters to some strange alcoholic liqueurs that they give you to try for free. More photos and videos from there also later ðð My favorite part of all travel is finding a local authentic area and trying to connect with the locals. And so it happened! Late in the evening, we returned to the hotel, left the bike in the parking lot and went to the non-tourist part of Sanya (although it was also very close to the hotel). There we had some dinner and went to a grocery store, which seemed to be open almost 24 hours a day, which is rare. We bought some beer and the owner of this store kindly laid out a small table in front of us and gave us chairs. So we decided
