I needed a break from doing such detailed work, so I needed to do something mindless. Here is a type of weaving called “Random Weaving” and it’s exactly what it sounds like- random!
I built an armature with some round reed then randomly stuck a bunch of reeds wherever they fit. I then decided to keep it open on one side so that I could potentially use it as a lamp shade. I don’t hate it :-) it came out pretty cool in the end!
