Yesterday I took my little kitty to the vet and just happened to see my best friend there, taking her cat to the vet at the same time! Over the weekend I got started on my garden because you know, I want more things to do lol. But really, I am excited. I’ve been building this soil for a few years now so it should be a good garden this year. I also got a great deal on some berry bushes, so now I’ll have an additional raspberry bush, I got a blackberry bush, and three (yes three) blueberry bushes ♥️ Today my roommate is working on some things, getting ready to move in. We are both very excited. I haven’t decided where I’m taking myself for my first date. I’ll probably do something simple and just sit in silence somewhere 😂 But depending on activities available, I might do an art class or something. I also got my first sponsored piece of clothing! This pink dress! It will be donated to a women’s shelter at the end of the year, so thank you for helping a good cause! Now I just need to go shopping and figure out what else I want to put with it. I’m actually not a super girly girl so shopping isn’t always the fastest or easiest for me. It’s been easy to be a yoga pants and t-shirt gal with having a prosthetic and being a mom. But I do enjoy looking cute, so I think that this will be a fun way to get myself into intentionally looking cute. I’m at the coffee shop today, trying an old fashioned chai. It’s not really old fashioned, but long story short, the things the barista uses for the old fashioned lattes he makes (some sort of aged whiskey flavor and orange flavor) is what’s in my chai. AND this wasn’t a pre-sweetened chai, so I’m loving it. I miss chai, but I really don’t do super sweet stuff anymore. I like everything about half as sweet, so that’s put chai off the menu for some time for me because most places use a pre-sweetened chai. Anyway, make it a great day!
