I haven’t done one of these in a while, but he just happened to be in town and is someone who supported me early early on in my content creation journey… so why not 🤷♀️ I just was not prepared for a “date” today. I did coffee dates with Redditors for a while but had a very mixed bag on people who understood that I should be compensated for taking time out of my day to see a total stranger and answer any and all questions they had, and then others who thought that I should just see them for free and a $6 coffee was worth driving to see a stranger to chat with for a couple hours 🥴 Sorry, but when you put yourself out there in this way, there are a lot of inquires, so no I’m not just giving out my time for free. I’m busy and I got bills to pay! 🤣 I there’s a big misconception that in this work we don’t do anything except take pretty photos every now and then and make millions of dollars 😂 So anyway, cheers to a random date. This should be fun!
