So nothing is official yet, but I finally started drafting my resignation letter. Which at least means I'm genuinely committing to the idea of leaving not just my job, but the funeral industry altogether. Survival is going to be the hard part, because a guaranteed paycheck every two weeks definitely beats hoping I'll have enough jewelry sales or subscribers on the premium side to make it through. But when have I ever been a traditional person, or a traditional career path person?
It's going to be scary but hopefully after I've had some time to decompress from the last few years of bullshit, I'll have a much more genuine and fulfilling life! Having to spend most of my time as [deadname] instead of Dax has a palpable affect. I don't want to not be authentically me anywhere ever again. And then I can focus more time on making content for here, as well as working on my own jewelry business and doing more streaming online between tiktok & twitch!

In the meantime, now that my boss is finally back from his fucking African Safari, I booked a trip to see Michael again! It's been almost 2 months and it's been HARD not getting his kisses or cuddles while eating cheese in bed together. It'll be my longest trip yet too! Almost a full week! I can't wait, and I don't know what to pack! We may go to a kinky convention so that's one kind of outfit, or we might go to the beach which is a totally different outfit! We'll see lol. But hopefully my favourite photographer helps me get some good shots again.
