Added 2023-10-04 11:00:32 +0000 UTC**For those of you who were engaged in the presale/PPV chat with me last week, here is a little update on my thought process for you all...** *If you don't have time to listen, the short version is this:* - 54% of respondents are OK with presales, 46% are not. This was a lot closer than I anticipated; - My strategy remains the same, and that is to provide you all with a good-value, high-quality page and have the content included in the subscription price; - Presales is not my ideal release strategy, but I do think there is a place for it in the world of collaborating e.g. if your collaborator is running their own presale, or if you work with someone who runs a PPV strategy and they have an issue with you posting content featuring them for free, it is a good tool to be able to use on occasion; - Ultimately, I have concluded that a presale doesn't deprive subscribers of anything the same way PPV does, it just offers an option to not wait for certain content; and - I do not expect presales to become a regular thing on this page and I do not have any more presales planned in my content schedule right now. **Thanks again for your engagement, everyone x**
