"Breaker, Breaker, Bear"
Chapter 1 - Grizzly and the Cornfed Cub, Part 1
A couple miles outside of Ottumwa, Iowa sits a truckstop at the edge of Route 34. To the south of the interstate and surrounded by cornfields the truckstop is a large gas station with dozens of pumps, a McDonald's, a diner, and a dive bar. There is also a set of public toilets behind the gas station. At night the big rigs line up like a herd of bison sauntering in off the plains. One-by-one they come in off the highway and slowly make their way into the extended truck lot by the diner, away from the gas station and McDonald's. Every few minutes another pulls in from dusk until late into the night when the lot would be completely full up.
Late one moonless June night around 11 o'clock an old 1992 brown Mack Super-Liner hauling a white box trailer quietly pulls in. Slowly it crawls down the rows of cabs and trailers, slides itself into an angle and comes to a stop. The driver is a stout bearded gentleman with a thick reddish beard and fat fingers. About two days overdue for a trim the follicles curl and tangle into a massive web on his jaw. His eyes are blue grey and set back in skin that had seen better days after years working the nation's highways. His bald head is covered by Bass Pro Shops trucker cap. He's wearing a black cotton t-shirt and blue jeans, sweat beaded at his brow as he sits back in his chair and idled his engine. The engraved brass key fob reads "GRIZZLY".
The hairs on his mustache curl over his lips as he spit into an empty cup and yawned. "Motherfucker," he mutters as he stretches his lower back and opens the door to his cab. He swings his body and backs out of the door and down, shutting it behind him before reaching for the skies and yawning again. He looks up and the moon and scratches his belly, taking his phone out of his pocket before slowly making his way through the parking lot.
"Let's see what's cooking..." he mutters, putting his hands in his pockets.
The night breeze carries his scent through the rows of trucks as he approached the door. Thick and heavy, like the man himself, it permeates the air and reached the nostrils of anybody within arms' length. A mix of mild body odor and faint musky cologne. Stale, but invigorating. Grizzly pushes the door open and approaches the counter, selecting one of the green pleather and stainless steel stools as his seat, his ass extending over the sides of the tiny tuffet.
A cub server approaches him, he smiles and raises his eyebrows. The boy is in his early-20s, blonde hair, blue eyes, pudgy, tall, queer. His left ear is pierced and his hair has distinct mismatched highlights. Clearly a refugee from his family's farm. The name tag reads 'Jamie'.
"What'll it be, Mister?" the server asks.
Grizzly returns the smile, "Coffee, steak and eggs."
"How do you want that steak cooked?"
"Medium-rare," he says.
"And the eggs?"
"Scrambled, I'll take the coffee black."
"Gotcha Mister, will there be anything else?" His nostrils flare.
"Not at the moment," the bear smiles.
"I'll have that right out..." he says, his voice trails off.
As Jamie walks away, Grizzly takes in the view of the cub. He reckons that the man is just over six-foot tall. He wore a tight pair of jeans that made his plump cornfed ass look fat and tight. The big bear's cock stirs as he watches the cub put his order in. His eyes move up the boy's body, towards the freshman-like face, complete with peach fuzz and acne scars. Almost like a version of himself, he thinks, if maybe a bit taller. Grizzly's libido simmers.
The moments pass. There were few patrons in the diner this night, mostly other truckers. The closest one to Grizzly is a thinner driver who is wearing a thin denim vest and eating a cheeseburger and fries with a Coke. Grizzly looked at him, guessing him to be in his 30s and completely focused on his meal. A TV on the wall is playing the local news from Des Moines. Grizzly watches the newscasters do their bit, discussing the Senate's inclusion of the federal ethanol subsidy in the latest legislative agenda.
"Your coffee," Jamie says softly, putting a mug down next to Grizzly's right hand and gently filling it with hot coffee from a carafe.
"Thank you," the trucker says, making eye contact with the server, trying to get a good read on him.
Jamie smiles and nods slightly, "you're welcome. My name's Jamie," he says perfunctorily, daintily gesturing to his nametag. "You just passing through tonight?"
"Afraid so," Grizzly says, picking up his mug and taking a sip. "On my way to Chicago to drop off a load." Jamie smirks, so does Grizzly. "I stopped here a few years back, I think, back in '19."
"I was in high school back then."
"Did you live here?"
"Not too far, I'm from Eldon."
"Never heard of it"
"Don't suppose you would." Jamie smiles and backs away, going to one of his other customers and returning to his rounds.
Grizzly nods and reflects on the vibe he got from the server. He smirks and folds his hands together, resting them on the counter in front of him.
After a few more minutes Jamie returns, this time with a beige oval plate containing a small sirloin steak and a healthy portion of fluffy yellow eggs.
"How's that look?" Jamie asked, setting the plate down in front of the trucker.
"Looks good to me--!"
"All right, I'll be back in a bit to check on you."
"Thank you," Grizzly says, smiling.
The bear picks up his knife and fork and cuts into the steak. He pokes the meat with his fork and pics it up to his mouth, sliding it over his lips and biting down, cutting into the flesh with his teeth as he chews and savors the taste, He nods and closes his eyes briefly. He slices a bite of eggs off with the back of his fork and puts them in his mouth too. Chewing vigorously he begins cutting a second bite of meat from his steak and swallows the first, nearly growling as he chastises himself for waiting so long between meals. The trucker bear eagerly ate his meal, sipping coffee occasionally as the bitter fluid washed the salty fats off his tongue. As he continues eating his attention shifts back to the TV.
The newscast had been on commercial break but now comes back and with the weather. The meteorologist is standing over a flat map of the state talking about heat domes and high temperatures as Grizzly chews more cornfed black angus beef.
"How is everything?" Jamie asks, standing behind the counted with a carafe of coffee.
"Very good," the trucker said, nodding in appreciation.
"Freshen your coffee?" he asks, raising the carafe.
"Please."
Jamie gingerly tips the spout and the steamy black waterfall flows into Grizzly's mug until it was nearly full again, then Jamie turns his wrist back and pulls the carafe towards his body.
"Thank you," said Grizzly, swallowing a bite of eggs.
Jamie's nostrils flare again, this time the bear's scent gets deeper into his nasal cavity. The essence of a mature man stirs primal urges in the buck.
"Will there be anything else?"
"Not right now, thank you."
Several stools down from Grizzly the skinny 30-something trucker is finishing his meal and asked for his check. Jamie goes over to cash him out and the bear returns to his steak and eggs. He cuts a piece of steak off and then a bite of eggs and sandwiches them together on top of his fork before taking the bite up to his mouth. Savoring the combination of the two contrasting textures, the soft bouncy silkiness of the eggs against the firm raw toughness of the meat, he loses himself in thought. His arousal grows at the notion of that tall otter's fat ass bouncing on his bear cock, milking his balls dry. That pretty face covered in his cum. The cub would look good with a bear on top of him, for sure.
By the time the local news has moved onto the sports segment, the plate of steak and eggs is polished clean. The fat hairy trucker backs away from the counter with a satisfied grunt, leaning back against the stool he takes a smooth swig of coffee and checks the time.
Jamie walks over from behind the counter. "All finished?" he asks.
Grizzly nods, Jamie takes the plate and turns, walking away slowly. Grizzly takes in the view of that cub's ass one more time. His tongue licks his lower lip quickly as Jamie takes his plate over to the back of house and drops it off, then goes over to the cash stand to print his check. Their eyes align as the receipt prints. The bears hungry eyes catch the curious cub's.
'Got him', thinks the bear.
Jamie walks back over with a confident smile on his face, service check in hand.
"Will there be anything else, Sir?"
Grizzly pauses for a beat. "No, not right now," he says with a wink. Reaching into his pocket, Grizzly pulls out his wallet. He taps the counter gently and leans in, Jamie catches on and does the same. Grizzly whispers, "but maybe later, when you get off your shift?"
Jamie leaned back and looks around, he smiles and purses his lips, leaning back in he says "one hour, your cab."
"Brown Mack, Pennsylvania plates."
"Okay, see you then," the cub winks and backs away from the counter. Going back to the hot pass to take another order Jamie returns to his rounds. The trucker bear takes two bills from his wallet, a twenty and a five, and lays them on the counter. Then he turns around in his stool and lower his legs, standing upright and shifting his weight onto his lower back. He groans slightly as he stands upright once more, walking towards the door in a perpendicular line with the cub behind him. Out of the corner of his eye the cornfed cub watches Grizzly walk out of the diner and back into the parking lot. The man looks the stout bear over, admiring his wide shoulders and thick legs. He watches as the older male walks down the rows of trucks out in the moonlight knowing in just over an hour he'll be pinned to that rough man's cock, at his complete mercy, and loving every minute of it. His own boner stirs inside his pants, straining against the zipper in his jeans. This shift can't end fast enough, he thinks to himself.

Note: This begins an anthology series featuring the character "Grizzly", a trucker who will have sexual escapades with different kinds of men across the country over the course of this summer. I wanted to do something that had a bit more character development and rhetorical structure for awhile. As always I hope you enjoy and welcome your feedback. This week was setting up a lot about the characters, next week will feature their hot action!
