I have not seen this in any country 🫣 I wanted to send things home to Russia, but it turned out that not everything was so simple: the woman at the post office told me to open the box, open each package 😅 Supposedly, she has to look at every thing. Lol what the fuck? The old woman at the post office replaces the X-ray at customs? Since when has a postal employee been authorized to rummage through my personal belongings? I'm in shoke 🤡 Or should I take out every one of my underpants and start showing them off in front of her 😂 I couldn't stand it and started laughing at the moment when she began to open the transparent bag with my things with a dissatisfied look. I asked: "Are you serious?" Yes, she was seriously going to rummage through my personal belongings, ahahah, in the end, I laughed, grabbed my things and left 👀 Also: I wanted to send a box (with my underwear) and a luggage with warm clothes. The day before, I went to the post office to find out the details: I showed a photo of the luggage, asked if it could be sent, etc. Everything was fine. But today, I was told that it is possible to send parcels only in boxes bought at the post office (only that way) and that they do not have such a large box for a luggage 👀 Just wtf For understanding: in Russia, you can send anything by mail and anywhere in any package. I know people who sent a SNOWBOARD by regular post in a case. And in Russia they definitely do not ask to show what is inside, since there is a scanner for this (as at the airport and other places), and if something seems suspicious to them, then an FSB officer or a customs officer will check your things. But not the old woman at the post office, her job is to write the address correctly lol
